April Lockhart
April Lockhart was born on July 4th, 1995. In seventh grade she began playing guitar and taking piano classes, which ignited her love for music writing. In April, when she was 12 years old She composed her debut single called Different. The year she turned 14 was when she was devoted for a long period of time to creating song concepts and practicing her musical skills. Soon, April began taking trips across NY and LA together with her father so that they could both write songs. April also added additional themes to the tune "Take My Hand" for some of friends who dealt with concerns like peer pressure disabilities, and even teenage suicide. Lockhart is a well-known lifestyle influencer, as well as working in partnerships with clean beauty brands Ilia, has built an impressive audience. It's true that she was born without a left hand and that is what makes her different. It's not the only aspect that makes her unique. Lockhart acknowledges her handicap on Instagram, but she does not make it the main focus of the post. The message? The message? Yet, she confesses that she has had periods that made her feel uncomfortable about her appearance as well as wearing clothes which displayed her arms. Nowadays, she dresses whatever she wants and posts pictures of herself in these outfits on social networks with a sense of pride. One of the keys to self-love for her is that it's not a destination.
