Allison Brooks Janney has been an American actress for over twenty years. The actress from the United States is known for her roles on both stage and screen. Allison Janney, who spent more than 20 years working in local theatres, came to be famous for her character as White House Press Secretary C.J. Gregg, the well-known and acclaimed character on The West Wing by NBC (NBC 1999-2006) and is now a household name. Allison Janney is a natural late blossomer. She got her Ohio driving licence a whole year later at the age of 17. Then she didn't meet the first date until after she was enrolled in university. When she began auditioning at 23 years old, she didn't make an appearance in a movie until her mid 30s. Faris is very picky about the roles she takes on following her departure from Mom in the year 2000. One exception being 2022's The Estate. As Faris herself, she has told PEOPLE this wasn't a conscious choice made on her part. Anna Faris is leaving her CBS sitcom Mom in the middle of its eighth season. Faris initially stated that she was planning to end the sitcom Mom to take on new problems. However, today she gives more insight into what led her back from acting. It's not like the producers were worried as Janney has worn a wig on the show from the beginning. Fallon revealed: "I told Fallon that Janney was wearing a wig from season 1 however, no one knew of it. Now, everyone knows." Janney will keep the wig for an object of collection. In the first season of the show, she made anywhere from $125,000 to the amount of $250,000 for each episode. At the end of the third season, Faris's Co-star Allison Janey was earning an approximate $200,000 for each show.
