Molly Tarlov is an American actor best known for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama series Awkward from 2011. Tarlov was one of two daughters born and raised by her grandparents in Manhattan. In the year she turned 10years old, Tarlov started her acting career with the show Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. Seventh year olds who watched the show were very impressed. As she grew older and had a job, she spent her summers in Paris in Paris with NYU Tisch's Tisch School of the Arts in Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. She studied a variety different styles of acting. Additionally, she studied with The Atlantic Theater Company and was able to incorporate writing into her acting at the LAByrinth Theater Master Course. Molly swapped her black jacket for a pair of sunglasses, before leaving for Los Angeles. Her parents were very impressed when she landed a role that required just three words on iCarly. Molly has starred on numerous television programs and created Caitlin for Winnie Holzman as well as Savannah Dooley in ABC Family's Huge. Molly pretends that she can be a good basketball player, despite the fact she doesn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
